|Need a book?|
Dear Students & Parents,
Now is the perfect time to find your next book to read! If you're having trouble finding a book that both excites and challenges you, I recommend visiting any of the websites below for inspiration.
Remember to 'taste' each book that interests you to see if it's a good fit. Ideally, you should raise no more than 4 fingers as you sample a page; this will ensure you're reading at the 'challenge' level and not the 'frustration' level, wherein tough vocabulary inhibits comprehension.
Check out the resources below, and if you need help ordering a book from the library, let me know and I'll coach you regarding how to obtain a book using the skills of Ms.Duncan and the 'inter-library-loan system' (fancy!).
